My Story.

Growing up in Ekiti

I was born and raised in Ekiti State, Nigeria, by two hardworking parents who were primary school teachers.

I attended public schools throughout my education and spent many school holidays helping my mother sell various goods, from maize and groundnuts to bread and popcorn. Those experiences taught me resilience, humility, and the value of small beginnings.

What seemed ordinary at the time would later become some of the lessons that shaped my outlook on life.

Learning to Dream Bigger

At fifteen, I began studying Law at Adekunle Ajasin University.

Like many young people, I struggled with self-doubt, fear, and the feeling that I was not good enough. I often questioned whether I belonged in certain rooms or whether my dreams were too ambitious for my background.

But through books, mentorship, leadership opportunities, volunteering, and intentional learning, my world gradually expanded.

I discovered that your environment may influence your starting point, but it does not have to determine your destination.

Building Beyond the Classroom

University became more than a place of study.

It became a place where I explored leadership, built communities, launched initiatives, organised programmes, mentored young people, and discovered the power of storytelling.

Along the way, I co-founded the Intellectual Property Law Club, led projects, served in nonprofit organisations, and contributed to initiatives focused on youth development and community impact.

Storytelling, Creativity and Impact

I believe stories can change lives.

Over the years, I have expressed this passion through writing, photography, filmmaking, speaking, and digital content creation.

My work has been recognised through awards and creative opportunities, including having a film screened at the Urban Film Festival in New York and receiving recognition as the Overall Best Video creator in a national Intellectual Property competition.

Whether through a camera lens, a stage, a book, or a conversation, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that inspire people to grow and become more.

A global journey

What began in a public school classroom in Ekiti has led to opportunities across different countries, organisations, and communities.

Today, I work in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Compliance while continuing to build projects that help people grow personally and professionally.

I remain passionate about lifelong learning, leadership, storytelling, and creating opportunities for others.

Why I do what I do

I know what it feels like to dream beyond your environment.

I know what it feels like to question your potential, doubt your abilities, and wonder whether your goals are truly possible.

The books I write, the stories I tell, the communities I build, and the work I do are all driven by one belief:

Your background is not your boundary.

I want more people to see possibilities where they once saw limitations and to build lives they are proud of.

Beyound work

When I am not working, writing, or creating, you'll probably find me:

  • Reading books

  • Exploring new ideas

  • Travelling and documenting experiences

  • Taking photographs

  • Mentoring young people

  • Building creative and community projects

I believe growth is intentional, learning never stops, and every person has more potential than they realise.
